- Hanhe Aviation is a company based in Wuxi that focus on
researching, developing, production and application agricultural
spraying UAV helicopters. We have been involved in the development
and production of remotely piloted helicopters since 2005. The
company is committed in the field of agricultural robots to help
farmers to drastically reduce current pesticide application costs
and labor time they’re using. By having leading technology and
experienced staff, the company is able to provide high-precision
equipment for the modernization of agriculture, production service
and data management platform. By 2013, we released its next
progressive model CD-15 with payload capacity of 15 kilograms. It
further enhances the Chinese agricultural UAV helicopter
capability, making pesticide spraying efficiency extended to the
target of up to 1.5 hectare per travel. Moreover, we will soon
release our next generation model with higher payload capacity in
2016. The expansion of farmland and labor cost is giving the
obvious advantage for agricultural UAV. In other words, the demand
for 15 to 20 kg payload capacity agricultural UAV will become
increasingly apparent in 2016.
- The helicopter and its flying control system were developed in
response to market demand for aerial agricultural spraying. Manned
Fixed-wing crop dusters had been in use, but the small size of
farms meant that this method was uneconomical and safety concerned.
It provides much more accurate spraying, at lower cost and lower
risk than manned aircraft.
- It’s characterized by flybarless rotor and lifted tail rotor.
Flybarless rotor has a simple structure and low failure rate.
Lifted tail rotor prevents from crashing caused by pesticide
applying on tail rotor.
- Compare to traditional manned aircraft, it does not require a large
take off terrain, it could easily take off and land from farms side
area, no special track required; its light weight, small size, can
be transported with a small size van.
- it is 60-80 times more effective than traditional manual hand
spraying. When spraying pesticides operates, intense downdraft from
the helicopter’s rotation can split and shake the crops and
pesticides will be able to evenly apply on to the back and the
roots of crops.
- The use of ultra-low volume pesticide spraying operation can limit
the cost of water and pesticides. Moreover, using remote control
allows the operator to stay away from chemical pollution, it’s
greatly reducing the harm to the operator.

1. Low Cost
3CD-15 is designed and manufactured by Hanhe Aviation with complete
patents protection, so its cost is much lower than the one of the
similar aircrafts from other countries.
2. Easy Operation
It does not require a runway to takeoff or landing, it takes off
vertically. Hanhe BD-1 system has been installed, which effectively
lowers the operation difficulty and the risks. It is suitable for
all kinds of complex terrain farmlands and the crops and woods of
different heights. Accurate dusting can be achieved for different
crops in the adjacent farmlands. Due to BD-1 installed, the dusting
operation can be mastered via simple training.
3. High - efficiency Crop Dusting
It could spray up to 1.5 hectares of land with fine dusting
uniformity and good pulverization. Its take-off weight is 35kg,
with payload of 15kg of Low volume pesticide, 5 m/sec flying speed,
5 meters dusting width of pesticide.
